Founding of Explosives Detection

The outward expansion of municipalities causes an increased necessity for new construction ground to be investigated with respect to archaeological values and potentially undetonated explosives from World War II.

Consequently, AVG Geoconsult Heijen LLC was established in 2000 – a consultancy that conducted both environmental and archaeological research for governments and construction companies. AVG Environmental Engineering was active in detecting and securing undetonated explosives on request. These two sectors merged, and this separate division settled in Waalwijk, since the scope of the operations was nation-wide.
